Not Organic (2009-04-09)
If you're looking for organic, this is not.
Bamboo is certainly a sustainable material in most people's eyes, so I am otherwise happy with this swaddler, but I don't like being misled.
I hope amazon changes the product title & description to omit the misleading word "Organic"
Soft, lightweight, and effective (2009-02-28)
My son was a Houdini and could break out of a regular blanket swaddle, and the Kiddoptomus brand has been the best one to keep him contained (we've tried 2 other brands of velcro swaddlers). This particular swaddle was super soft and the lightweight material was perfect for the weather (baby born in July in the southern US). Kiddoptomus has a couple of fleece versions of this swaddle that we bought for my friend's winter baby, and she loved using it as well. Convenient, easy to use, washes well, beautiful blue color with brown trim.
not a good swaddler (2009-02-08)
we have a cotton swaddler which helps our 2 month old sleep so well. we got this one because it is pretty and soft, but it stretches too much so she gets her hands out in minutes and it doesn't do its job
Pretty, but not as functional as other swaddlers by manufacturer (2009-01-01)
We have several Kiddopotamus swaddlers and we love them. Actually, they've saved our sanity because our daughter will actually sleep when she's wrapped in one. We got this one for the breathable fabric, but it's just too stretchy and she breaks out within minutes. I prefer the cotton swaddler, which is also breathable but less stretchy.
Not the best fabric choice (2008-08-04)
We love the SwaddleMe -- couldn't live without it -- so we were excited to see the "green" bamboo fabric option. The fabric itself is lovely, soft, and attractive. But it has a big flaw: it's too stretchy. If you have an infant like ours that needs to be swaddled snugly, you'll find yourself frustrated with this product. I'd manage to get her wrapped up tight, only to have her crying five minutes later with an arm halfway out. I recommend the cotton flannel instead.
